Desperate Ohio Homeowner Destroys House

Banks have been half-heartedly managing short sales and foreclosures from the beginning of the housing meltdown. Many homeowners are in fare of a nameless, faceless lender never knowing if they will be spared or when the axe will fall. Banks are stubbornly rejected legitimate offers at the expense of homeowners teetering on the brink of disaster. It harkens back to the evil banker Mr. Potter in the movie classic "It's a Wonderful Life." Does anyone win in this war of wills? The banks are thinking they are the victors. A frustrated homeowner has destroyed his home. No lesson to be learned. It's simply a sad reflection of the times. The full story is here. This is the ending of a tragedy. Read the story, feel the truth.
